Upper Brackernagh, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Partnering with Tusla in
the development and delivery of Prevention and Early Intervention
service in Ballinasloe.
WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING ON A 3 YEAR, FIXED-TERM, CONTRACT:
FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
* Level 7 or higher in Community Development, Family Support, Social
Care or other relevant discipline
* At least 3 years’ paid experience of Community Development,
Family Support or similar work
IT IS DESIRABLE THAT CANDIDATES HAVE
* Knowledge and experience of the Family and Community Services
Resource Centre Programme.
* An understanding of the issues and policies impacting the
Traveller community.
* Thorough knowledge of safeguarding and safe practices in working
with children, families, individuals, and agencies.
